• Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers (via Auth0).
• Usage data: pages viewed, device/browser info, referral source, and events (e.g., signup) — when cookies are accepted.
• Content you provide: text you enter to generate decks, scripts, and assets.
• Support data: information you share when contacting us.
• Cookies & similar tech: small files used for analytics and ads (only if you consent), plus strictly necessary cookies for security/session.

3) How we use data

• Provide and secure the service (authentication, fraud prevention).
• Operate features (generate decks, scripts, assets you request).
• Measure and improve performance (analytics, A/B testing) — with consent.
• Run advertising and conversion measurement — with consent.
• Respond to support and comply with legal obligations.

4) Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Contract: to create and maintain your account and deliver the app.
• Legitimate interests: security, preventing abuse, basic product stats.
• Consent: analytics, advertising, and conversion tracking cookies.
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws/regulations.

5) Third-party recipients

We share data with service providers who help us run PitchBae, including:

• Auth0 (authentication & security).
• Google Analytics / Google Ads (analytics and conversion tracking — only if you consent).

We require providers to process data only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately.

6) International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.

7) Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see “Your rights”).

8) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect prior lawful processing).

9) California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt-out of “selling/sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t sell personal information in the traditional sense. When you consent to advertising cookies, limited data may be shared with ad partners for measurement/ads.

10) Cookies & consent

We use strictly necessary cookies for security and authentication. With your consent, we use analytics and advertising cookies to understand performance and measure conversions. You can change your choice anytime:

If you previously accepted cookies, the Accept button will re-enable analytics/ads after reload. Decline will disable them.

11) Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including authentication via Auth0, encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and regular monitoring. No method is 100% secure; please protect your account credentials.

12) Children

PitchBae is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
